United States Mint coin sales slumped in the prior report. In fact, several products were actually adjusted downward. The latest round of numbers shows a reversal. Demand for US Mint collector coins improved across nearly every product.

The 2010 quarters proof set launched on Thursday, May 13. From then until Sunday, May 16, the US Mint sold 75,558. It's a good start for the sets considering that last year's 2009 DC & US Territories Quarters Proof Set took nearly three more days to reach their 78,018 opening.

2010 Boy Scouts Silver Dollars are approaching a complete sellout even though their blazing several week start eventually turned to much slower weekly advances. Their numbers improved 3,211 versus the prior 951. The silver dollars are now at 342,771, or 97.9%, of their maximum authorized 350,000 mintage. Only 7,229 of the proofs remain.
2010 American Veterans Disabled for Life Silver Dollars added 1,990, with 600 more uncirculated and 3,437 more proof. They have topped the 200,000 milestone, and are at 57.5% of their allotted 350,000.
First Spouse Gold Coins were hot with 841 added despite the fact that their prices were raised last Wednesday to their highest levels ever. It is the best weekly number in five weeks. Every option improved.
