America the Beautiful Quarter ObverseThe 2010 debut of the America the Beautiful Quarters Program is about to take place, and as you can expect, many different products will be issued by the US Mint relating to the new series.

Each year for eleven years, five new designs will be selected and struck on quarters showcasing a different national park or other national site; one from each state, the District of Columbia and the United States Territories. Law dictates that the order of release for each coin is to be determined by when the site honored came under the control of the United States government.

In 2010, we will see the first of the new series and along with those circulation quarters, the US Mint has multiple other product options planned that relate to each design. Examples of these options are the 100-coin bags for $32.95 that contain 100 quarters from either the Mint in Philadelphia or the Mint in Denver (both bags can be purchased together for $65.90) or the two-roll sets, also for $32.95, which come with one roll of 40 quarters from the Philadelphia Mint and one roll of quarters from the Denver Mint.

For you convenience, we have put together a chronological list showing what site will be honored and approximately when, along with any related products. The Mint's annual sets will also contain the new designs and are shown as well.
