The United States Mint will release the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico commemorative quarter into circulation on March 30.
It is the second coin in the 2009 District of Columbia & U.S. Territories Quarters Program.
The coin's reverse (tails side) design features a sentry box in Old San Juan overlooking the sea with a hibiscus flower. The design, by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Joseph Menna, includes the inscription Isla del Encanto (Island of Enchantment).

Where is the “In God We Trust” on this coin? Donde este ” En Dios confiamos” en esta moneda? Who the hell do you think you are fooling? We may be a small island but we have a great deal of smart people. I personally am fowarding this to at least 20 people and they will foward to their 20 and before you know it you have more on the side of God than on the side of athesism. This is not what America and certainly not what Puerto Rico is about!
Flip the coin over Einstein and look to the right of Washington’s bust….Can you see it now?
