France issues gold, silver coins of high face value - People’s Daily Online

France has decided to issue gold and silver euro coins of high face value, said a communique released by the Post Office of France and the Mint of France Friday.
Local media reported that 2 million silver coins with a face value of five euros each are about to be put up for sale in 1,000 post offices throughout the country as of Sept. 1.
