The United States Mint today, at 12:00 noon Eastern Time, will launch collecting products with El Yunque quarters minted at San Francisco.

SF Mint El Yunque Quarters in bags and rolls
These new products are different from the bags and rolls of the 2012 El Yunque National Forest Quarters released in February, as these older products were manufactured in Philadelphia and Denver.
The new quarters are the first of their kind from San Francisco and bear the "S" mint mark. They are struck in circulation quality but have not entered circulation. It should be noted that the San Francisco quarters will only be for sale by the U.S. Mint and they will not be found via normal channels of distribution like most other American coinage.
As discussed a month ago, 2012-S El Yunque quarter 100-coin bags are $34.95 and 2012-S El Yunque quarter 40-coin rolls are $18.95. This represents a premium of $9.95 above face value for the bags and $8.95 above face value for the rolls. A shipping and handling fee of $4.95 is also added to all domestic orders.
Interested buyers will find the San Francisco quarters and all the other El Yunque National Park products at the U.S. Mint’s online product page at http://www.usmint.gov, or orders may be placed by phone at 1-800-USA-MINT (872-6468). According to the Mint’s web page, there are no mintage limits and no ordering limits.
U.S. Mint release dates have yet to be offered for similar San Francisco collecting products for the four other 2012 America the Beautiful Quarters which depict Acadia National Park in Main, Chaco Culture National Historical Park in New Mexico, Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii and Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska.
