Four new products from the United States Mint entered the market and are debuting on the sales chart below.

The most purchased products, though, were not new. 2012 Proof Sets and 2012 Proof Silver Eagles far outsold the newest Cleveland Coin Covers, San Francisco El Yunque quarters, and five ounce silver bullion coins.
22,689 of the 2012 Proof Sets were picked up by collectors according to this week’s U.S. Mint sales data, plus 18,696 more of the individual 2012-W Proof Silver Eagles. Also in silver, 23,718 of the San Francisco Proof Silver Eagle Coin Sets were ordered, followed by 15,021 of the 2012 Silver Proof Sets.
Finally, as the fifth best weekly seller, the Grover Cleveland First Term Presidential $1 Coin Covers started with 12,406 in sales between the launch on Tuesday, June 19 and Monday, June 25. Its total reinforced a slowing trend of openers in the series. When Arthur’s Coin Covers started in April, collectors scooped up 13,562 of them, which was still less than Garfield’s debut of 13,843 back in December.
Fast forward to number seven and nine among the most popular. They were the new SF Mint El Yunque Quarters. 5,800 of the 40-coin rolls sold along with 3,827 of the new 100-coin bags. Their sales began on Thursday, June 21. (Read how their sales compare to "P" and "D" quarters.)
As for the Chaco Culture Five Ounce Silver Bullion Coins, the United States Mint published their debut total at 3,200 on Monday. They are the second 2012-dated five ounce coin and the twelfth in the series.
All available sales on U.S. Mint coin collecting products are below. The first three columns of the table provide weekly United States Mint sales increases between the listed time periods, offering a sense of recent trends. The last column provides the latest United States Mint sales totals as of Monday, June 25, 2012. *The exception is the 2012-S Proof Silver Eagle Two-Coin Set, which is as of Wednesday, June 27 at about 3 PM ET and represents cumulative total units ordered.
