Jon Nadler, senior analyst for Montreal-based Kitco Inc., has a deep respect for gold. The precious metal “saved” his life. When he was 18 years old, Nadler fled Romania, with little more than the clothes on his back and the gold that had been sewn into that clothing.
“That gold was my seed money to start my new life in North America,” Nadler said during a wide-ranging tutorial that revolved around gold coins and their questionable value for folks verging on panic as they watch markets roil.
