Ben Nelson offers bill to mint Boy Scout coin - Sioux City Journal

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., and U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., introduced legislation Thursday to create a $1 silver coin to recognize the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America.
“My times as a Boy Scout were some of my most memorable and important as a young man,” said Nelson. “This coin serves as a memorial and a promise to the millions of scouts in America, both young and old, that the Boy Scouts of America has and will continue to positively shape the lives of young men for many years to come.”
